Controlled Beta terms
Beta Terms And Acceptable Use
Controlled Beta access is for evaluating a bounded civic-information service. Access can change, be limited, or be revoked to operate the beta safely.
Independent service
Citizen Authority is an independent civic-information platform. It is not a government agency, official government website, or service endorsed by Congress, Colorado, local governments, candidates, elected officials, school districts, or other public entities.
Official source links remain important because the authoritative government record controls if Citizen Authority's normalized or summarized view conflicts with the source.
No professional advice
Citizen Authority provides civic information and participation tools. It does not provide legal, financial, tax, election-administration, or other professional advice.
Users should inspect official sources and consult qualified sources or professionals before making consequential decisions.
Acceptable use
Do not use the beta for automated abuse, impersonation, fraudulent verification, harassment, threats, illegal content, poll or rating manipulation, disruptive scraping, account-protection evasion, or attempts to compromise Citizen Authority or other users.
Good-faith civic disagreement, criticism, and correction requests are allowed when they follow the feature's moderation and evidence rules.
Access and availability
Beta access does not guarantee permanent access or future free or paid entitlement. Citizen Authority may suspend or revoke access for security, abuse, fraud, verification failure, material policy violations, or operational necessity.
The beta may experience outages, source delays, incomplete records, and changing functionality. No uninterrupted availability or perfect accuracy is promised.
